I recently got my hands on the iSpyPen, and I can't say enough good things about it! It's been a game-changer for protective surveillance and works brilliantly as a substitute for a dash cam while I'm out riding my eBike. The video and audio quality are fantastic, capturing everything I need with crystal-clear detail, whether I'm keeping an eye on my surroundings or recording my rides for safety. It's so discreet and easy to carry, which makes it perfect for slipping into my pocket or mounting on my eBike. What really blew me away, though, was the customer service. Works as advertised. Easy to use on a PC but a little cumbersome on a smartphone. Video at times seems a bit different from what one is looking at. Most important is that you capture everything, even if the color is a bit off. Carry one with you all the time and people will get used to seeing it and forget that they may be recorded. Works for me! If they mention about how large the pen is, tell them that you have crayons to match.

I was in need of some sort of spying device (unnoticeable and no WiFi needed). Googled and found ISpy Pens. Gonna test it these next couple of days and will keep you posted. However, did want to post this review regarding customer service. Since placing the order, that same day I received a text stating if I needed help or had questions. My order did not arrive as stated, reached out to Andrew and he was kind enough to ship (keep in mind I reached out after 4:00) next day at no additional cost. I assured him I would send 1st order back. Sure enough, package was at the doorstep next day before 10 am. Big shout out to Andrew’s team for making this happen. FYI….1st order was sent as promised. I took a star of because of the lack of Customer Service being unavailable on the phone and this pen using the older version of the USB port. A lighting port or USB C would be better as I don't have the old USB connecter to charge this pen.
I took another star because it's a hassle to transfer the videos onto your iPhone. A software that transfers by bluetooth to your phone would be perfect. My Ray Ban Meta does this pen is a step behind.
Still a good pen and idea (that's why I'm giving it a 3 star) but the fact that it's a hassle to transfer files and reach to customer service made it clear that I would like to return until one of these areas are upgraded.
Will update review if Customer Service assist on my issues and/or return my pen.

I like the ispypen but wish it can record longer than 2 hrs. I didn’t like it that you have to remove the currently record file off the SD memory or else the pen can not record. If it only record for 1hr at least design that it can create a new file for each recording.
Had many issues of the pen stop recording, the SD memory drive was bad, the record suddenly stop recording after 5 min although it’s fully charge and the pen light is blue.
My best rating is that the technical service was the best. They listen and help troubleshoot and making things right for their customers satisfaction which I gratefully appreciated.

the video is cut into segments and the date of the time is wrong how can this be changed to what i thought this was but other than that its okay i see why its that size because of usb and battery im assuming not bad not too noticeable anyway and only thing is the movement when recording if it could stabilize i dont know if possible but recording and audio pretty good not sure if its able really to hear the said distance if it’s clipped and if changes are available please make a video on instructing how and all the applications and how to personalize as well as maybe putting a black screen in front of cam so at angle it’s more hidden and since the camera is always pointing straight it would i think affect the video depends on how it’s done if you guys do take that consideration or if you can change the button because if you give someone your pen and out of habit they click it and it pauses the video and who knows for how long but yea that’s just some active criticism and if updates are available if i can have the pens shipped back or something so i can have any updates if possible but thank you

Really excited and happy with my pen. Works as expected, which is very simply with one click, and the quality of video and sound are spot on. It performs well in low light as well, which is an upgrade over my previous recording device. I also wanted to shoutout sales/customer service. Looking forward to using this bad boy. Pen is very nicely presented during the unboxing. Nicely weighted. Ergonomically shaped for a comfortable grip while writing. Camera is extremely inconspicuous, as it’s hidden behind the pocket clip. The clip, itself, is nicely sized and proportional to the pen. Overall appearance, size, weight and actual application of ink to paper is very similar to the few Mont Blanc pens that I own. I’m impressed.

It’s not 100% clear when I press the power button whether I’m turning the pen on or off. Also, it would be nice if the camera would turn on with a lighter tap to the button so you don’t have to press down really hard when you need to turn on at a moments notice.

Where do I start My work colleague & amigo, (Justin , retired FBI) suggested that I start to build my arsenal of covert cameras. January 2024 he sent me the link to ispy pen, which he purchased for himself. I hadn’t purchased any covert cameras, so the ispy pen would be My first in my line up of covert cameras. Two weeks ago in December 2024 I finally got around to placing my order for the ispy pen ️. I received my pen five days ago and was smitten at first sight. It is sleek, and discrete; totally unnoticeable. I wanted Justin to “hold my hand” and walk me through step by step of how to use the pen, how to charge it and how to view the video I would record. He told me to “you better watch the videos of how to operate it and read the instructions” So I did. It was simple. My two “cons” would be the slight difficulty in unscrewing the pen from the tip. It needs some “oil” if you will and the video is somewhat grainy but still clear. I’m so looking forward to using my covert ispy pen in the near future. I hope the company will expand on their line up, like say, ispy reading glasses. I am pleased with my purchase, and happy to have a covert camera in my 007 bag. I feel that these pens are going to gain momentum in popularity and will be flying off of their warehouse shelves, once people catch on to the usefulness of the pen. I would recommend the pen for purchase to those in my field of work, specifically, however, the general public can and will find the pen useful as well. Thumbs Up 007 approved

This spy camera pen is so far exactly as it is advertised. It takes great quality audio and video. Camera itself is small and unobtrusive. The pen overall feels kind of fat and "clunky" but you're getting a lot of tech in a pen that is ISB plug and play. I have not yet tested the battery life but it is everything else so far. It was plug and play with my Mac and IPhone-no additional apps needed-so definitely get the plug and play adapter. It took a minute to figure out how to get the correct timestamp on a video but a quick internet search and solution found. Changing up the clip colors is a neat feature. I would recommend if you need a spy cam that looks like a pen.

Bought the pro x on Amazon. Then later ordered the phone adapter from the company however they sent me the adapter and a charger which I did not order, I contacted the company to pay them the difference but they were so nice to allow me to keep the charger. WOW what a company. You can bet your challenge coin I’ll be buying from them again.

The iSpyPens are of excellent quality (video and audio). I had a camera pen years ago that does compare to the workmanship, quality, and looks of the iSpyPens.
One of my pens stopped working but the iSpyPens team immediately shipped a replacement without questions. They stood by their product andfollowed up to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Pen camera works pretty good - couple things I have noticed so far:
I am now testing one out to see how well it operates. So far it seems to do very well
with recording videos and is very simple to use. There are some things I have noticed
and want to mention in my testing.
Note: All my recording tests have been done inside my house with adequate lights turned on.
I mainly use these devices for recording videos only. I do not need to do photos.
1. I received 2 boxes in which one nice protected box had only the Pen inside. There were no
instructions that came with the Pen (but for me, was simple to use) The 2nd box contained
different attachments to make the Pen look cosmetically different colors. May use some of
them in the future.
2. I have used other Pen cameras so operation of this Pen is very similar. On the back of the Pen
there is a tiny hole which you will see either blue or red lights come on. To start recording on the
Pen, just press down on the button on the top of the Pen and hold it down till the first Blue light
appears, then let up on the button. One more blue light will appear then go away, The Pen is
now recording. There are no other indications that the Pen is doing anything.
3. To stop the Pen from recording, just press and hold down the button again on the Pen and wait
till you see red lights appear in the tiny hole. There will be 2 red lights and then nothing else. The
The Pen should now be turned off. I don't think this Pen captures Pictures, but with no instructions,
I am not sure yet. The folder in memory on the Pen just says "VIDEO".
4. With even doing recording inside my house and having sufficient lighting turned on, the Pen records
very well with nice video quality. The only thing I notice is the indoor videos seem to be darker than a
few of my other Pen camera devices. Details in the video seem to be good, but the video looks darker.
Have not tried outdoor recordings, but pretty sure videos will be much brighter in the Sun.
5. It is easy to look at video recordings done by the Pen. Just unscrew the tip section of the Pen and
plug the Pen into a USB port - I have a PC. Looking at the files stored in memory, there is one folder
and one text file. The text file contains the time stamp line which can be edited. At the end of the
time stamp line either change it to Y or N for whether we want time stamp displayed or not.
The folder will contain the recorded files. Each video file will be 5 min in length. I have found doing
continuous recording, the Pen will only do 1 hour and 15 minutes long and have 15 video files.
There is no sound or I have no idea the Pen has stopped recording. Seller says it is supposed to have
battery life to record 4 hours. There seems to be no way (setting) to make the Pen continuously
record beyond about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I did not try to start recording again.
6. Audio quality is good enough for me with the Pen. Not sure how far it will pick up sounds, haven't tested that yet. Also I hear some clicks and faint other sounds while recording. So it is not perfect and
I am not fussy with the audio. I am mainly concerned about the video part of the device.
7. Battery - There is no way to know how much battery life left on this Pen has when operating and
doing charging. Also have no idea how long it takes to get a full battery charge. I usually plug the Pens
in and let them charge for a couple of hours. When Pen is plugged into the USB port I do see a blue
light on which I assume it is charging back up. When I see a dual red/blue color, I assume that tells me
the Pen has been fully charged. With no instructions, I am guessing at this time. Pen gets warm when
in use, but not hot.
All in all, the Pen works very well for me. It will replace one of my other Pens that does not have the
same quality of recording. I may get one more of these Pens to replace 2 older devices I have. If I
think of anything else, I will edit the review. Take care.

I am writing this review post owning one of their pens and all I have to say is that they are awesome, reliable, and have just the best customer service I have ever seen.
First off, the pens are great, they are sleek and they work. Sure there is some room for improvement, but overall, it is a great gadget. If somebody was to hold and try to use the pen then they may find it to be weird with its current button and may figure out its not just a regular pen. But with some new design on the button, this pen wouldn't be differentiable at all from a regular pen.
Just from looking at the pen, I don't see anybody thinking anything about it other than just being a regular pen which makes it great. That's what really makes it a spy pen, it's stealthy.
So I would highly recommend this pen over the competitors as they seem to be cheaper and don't have the same exact capabilities as this pen. One of my favorite features is the fact that it charges with a regular USB and not a USB-micro like other's pens. You just plug it in anywhere. Now I do think it could be better if it had a USB-c plug-in, since all devices are headed towards USB-c and I would be able to charge my phone, tablet, etc..., and this pen all with just one plug. But other than that, its awesome, if you have any doubts about which one to pick, I would say go get one from here.
